We are delighted to announce that, as of 13th October 2026, Gifford Primary School and Downe Manor Primary School have officially formed The Northala Federation, marking an important new chapter in our shared journey.

Building on the strong foundations of our existing partnership, the Federation brings together the strengths, expertise and resources of both schools, united by a shared commitment to providing the very best education and opportunities for every child.

Through collaborative leadership, shared expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement, we aim to further enhance teaching and learning, support professional development and create enriching experiences for pupils across both schools.

While each school will continue to retain its own unique identity, values and sense of community, The Northala Federation provides an opportunity to work more closely together, celebrate our achievements and build an even stronger future.

At the heart of everything we do are our children, families and staff. We look forward to this new chapter, strengthening relationships across our school communities and ensuring every child feels valued, supported and inspired to reach their full potential.
