Our newly appointed JTAs (Junior Travel Ambassadors) were proudly awarded their certificates by Councillor Paul Driscoll, Portfolio Holder for Climate Change. The children have been preparing for their upcoming assembly and the exciting competitions during Road Safety Week, which will take place from 19th to 25th November. The Fun Day event was a great success, with at least 20 different schools in attendance. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day, interacting with peers from other schools and confidently sharing their ideas with both children and adults. It was an inspiring experience for all involved!
Congratulations to our Year 5 and Year 6 Girls Football Team for their impressive performance at the competition held at Gunnersbury Park last week. They faced challenging matches against high-caliber teams but demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, ultimately advancing to the semi-final stage and securing bronze medals.
We are thrilled to announce that The Tenebrae Choir will be working with our Year 3 children throughout this academic year. This is an incredible opportunity for the children to develop their musical skills with one of the most prestigious choirs in the UK. The program has been heavily subsidised through Ealing Music Service, making it accessible to all. We are excited to see the progress and joy this experience will bring to our young musicians!
Last week, children from Year 2 to Year 6 participated in the Gifford Government elections, voting for a candidate to represent their class. The votes are currently being tallied, and the election results will be published in the Gifford Gazette this Friday.
We look forward to welcoming our families back to school at 8:40am on Tuesday 3rd September 2024.
We would like to thank all staff, parents, and pupils for a great Academic Year and wish you all an enjoyable and relaxing summer.
We are delighted to share our Ofsted report with you. Please find it attached.
We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful experiences our Year 5 pupils had during their recent on-site camping adventure. The event was filled with joy, excitement, and numerous activities that not only entertained the children but also helped them build lifelong memories.
From the moment the tents were pitched, the atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm. The children participated in a variety of outdoor activities, including nature walks, team-building exercises and campfire storytelling. Each activity was designed to encourage collaboration, foster new friendships, and enhance their appreciation for the great outdoors.
The camp also provided valuable learning experiences. The children practiced important life skills such as setting up tents, cooking simple meals, and understanding the importance of teamwork and communication. These activities were not only fun but also educational, helping to build their confidence and independence.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ace Adventure Camping and all staff members and volunteers who made this camping experience possible. Their dedication and hard work ensured that everything ran smoothly and safely, allowing the children to fully enjoy their time at camp.
Thank you for your continued support. We are proud of our Year 5 pupils and the wonderful memories they have created during this camping experience. We look forward to more exciting adventures in the future!
Year 6 children who went to watch The Lion King at London's West End had an amazing evening! Thank you to John Lyon’s Charity for funding the trip. Our children thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful opportunity, for which we are incredibly grateful.
Congratulations to our Year 5 and Year 6 QuadKids Athletics Team who took part in their competition at Perivale Track last week. A team competition where each individual performance contributes to the overall score of the team. Our ‘A’ Team managed to finish 1st and our ‘B’ Team finished 2nd bringing home Gold and Silver medals respectively. A fantastic performance and a warm up event for the Summer Athletics in a few weeks time. Well done!
