  • Year 2 Campfire

    Year 2 had a fantastic campfire experience related to our English unit of a book called 'The Owl who was afraid of the dark'. The children have been learning about how the dark can be useful in many ways such as having a campfire. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate.

    HM Queen Elizabeth II, has died at 96 years old. The longest reigning Monarch in British history dedicated a life to public and voluntary service as one of the most important elements of her work. Our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

    We have had a glorious day celebrating Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee; children looked fabulous dressed in red, white and blue, they enjoyed a jubilee lunch picnic and took part in fun activities around the theme of the jubilee in the afternoon. A big thank you to all who donated bunting and decorations from our local community.
