Year 2 had a fantastic campfire experience related to our English unit of a book called 'The Owl who was afraid of the dark'. The children have been learning about how the dark can be useful in many ways such as having a campfire. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate.
School will be closed on Monday 19th September.

We have had a glorious day celebrating Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee; children looked fabulous dressed in red, white and blue, they enjoyed a jubilee lunch picnic and took part in fun activities around the theme of the jubilee in the afternoon. A big thank you to all who donated bunting and decorations from our local community.
